Decorating Competition – Section 27

RULES:

1. Displays to be in place and registered by September 1, 2022
   Register by sending photo of display to hello@harristonmintofair.ca
2. Must include a sign advertising the dates of the Fair (September 16, 17, 18^th)
3. Must utilize a variety of agricultural products (ie hay, grain, straw, corn, sunflowers, etc), and farm implements (ie rakes, wheelbarrows, ploughs, hoes, etc)
4. Fall Fairs Bows will be available by contacting the Fair Secretary and/or sold at participating businesses.

Open to All Residents & Businesses in Minto.

Theme: Flannel Shirts & Denim Skirts

Scoring:

Overall Appearance: 20%
Originality: 50%
Visibility of Dates 30%

CLASSES:

RURAL

1. Create an Entrance or Roadside Display
   Prizes: 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50, 4th $25

BUSINESS

2. Yard or Window Display
   Prizes: 1st $50, 2nd $40, 3rd $30, 4th $20

RESIDENTIAL

3. Create a Front Yard Display
   Prizes: 1^st $50, 2^nd $40, 3^rd $30, 4^th $20
