Flannel by Kristine O’Connell George
Red and blue plaid,
Pockets with buttons,
My camping shirt
is flannel, worn soft,
pine smells, campfire,
forest moss.
I keep it hidden
In my bottom drawer
Where no one will find it
And wash away
